My dad took his dog for the last visit. The vet was thoughtful, supportive and kind. The vet was loving towards her and walked us through the steps and asked how we wanted to proceed. There was a room with a large blanket on the floor for her to lie down on and seating around it to visit with her. Options were presented in a kind and informative manner. No pressure, no guilt, only thoughtfulness and kindness.
