I went in to emerg a week ago last Monday evening and was seen right away, evaluated and admitted. I was treated with respect, kindness and professionally. Kept a very close eye on and was there for complications as they appeared. They had been absolutely fabulous and I am so glad I went there instead of where I was headed. I was at a 4 way stop and told my daughter to turn right as I it was closer. Best decision I could have made and I would do it again in a heart beat. They took awesome care of me at all times and transferred me to Kingston when things turned without hesitation and my doctor came in the ambulance with me. With me til I was in good hands. I have been to KGH in kingston they are helpful hospital was dirty and to many doctors Diagnoses the same problem with divergent meds and puts you in more danger and some times over medicate you so if I go to a hospital again I will to Nappanee
I have always had my surgeries done at KGH, so was apprehensive about having my surgery done at Napanee Hospital. I was over the moon pleased with the overall service. I have had to have special attention given in the past, as I have an exceptionally narrow airway and the process the anesthesiologists used was flawless. The nurses were exceptional in their care. I have a new outlook now and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital. Dr. Andrews was caring and easy to talk to. I would only say, I wish she had addressed the outcome of the surgery, afterwards, but I am sure was off to her next surgery and there was no time. That would be my only criticism.
