Thank you SO MUCH to Moe and Lauren for helping me to choose a new ceiling fan. My old one didn't give enough light. I chose one with three bulbs.
My old one had three pull cords. One was for the light, one for the three-speed fan, and one for reverse direction.
It took some sleuthing but Lauren was able to figure out that there a switch on the base itself to switch direction!!
