Finding Maya honestly felt like finding a hidden gem. I had always wanted a very natural, “my face but better” look for my wedding, something fresh, soft, and ethereal, almost like an early 2000s rom-com bride. She’s the most amazing person I’ve ever worked with. Talented, caring and professional.
She made me feel comfortable with the whole process cuz I don’t actually enjoy doing makeups, and most importantly, she made me still looked like myself after the makeup :) I enjoyed the glam look and the makeup held up well in sweat on the most humid and hottest July 1st for more than five hours.
I’ve had my makeup done plenty of times before and this is the first time I didn’t feel sad washing away my makeup down the sink drain at the end of the night. Why? Because Maya gave me the confidence that I could do this makeup look again on my own. She listened to my concerns, corrected my technique and any misinformation I had about products. She’s easygoing and accessible and continues to support you with post lesson text support.
