About CrossFit UV

CrossFit UV is a unique gym that offers an energetic and supportive community. The experienced and friendly coaches, including Fergus, Sonia, and Jason, create a positive and motivating environment. The gym has a great atmosphere where members feel welcomed and supported, whether they are new or experienced. Personal training sessions with Mathew are highly praised for quickly identifying areas for improvement and providing appropriate challenges. The early morning classes, such as the 6am fitness class, are perfect for those with busy schedules, and the variety of workouts makes the hour fly by. Many members find that CrossFit UV helps them push past their limits, improve their fitness, and even participate in competitions, all while feeling at ease and free to be themselves. The sense of camaraderie and support makes the gym feel like a home and a happy place for many.

    I spent a week at CrossFit UV during a recent stay in Toronto and my experience was just great. Even though I was only there temporarily, everyone I met made me feel right at home, from the coaches to the members, to Fergus the owner.

    I'm still relatively new to CrossFit having started in the fall of 2024 but didn't feel at all intimidated by working out in a new space. The workouts were scaled to my level whenever needed (even mid-workout) and I appreciated the personalized attention to my needs.

    I am new to CrossFit and was hesitant to join in the beginning, but Fergus and his team made it extremely easy for me to transition on at the end of last year. I think there is a very big misconception of what CrossFit is out there, and I did not realize the difference until I joined that you did not have to push to your limits in order to gain the maximum impact for your body. Over the last two weeks, I’ve lost 5 pounds and feel terrific. It’s one of the best things I’ve done in my life and would encourage anyone to explore CrossFit at the gym
