This review is long overdue, as my father’s funeral was at the end of 2023. Thank you all for helping my family through such a sad time in our lives. We appreciate everything you did for us. The funeral was beautiful - just the way dad would have wanted it.

James Reid Funeral Home accompanied our family through the very difficult season of our mom’s declining health and death in a way that preserved her autonomy and dignity. In 2022 mom attended a planning workshop provided by James Reid in their Examined Life series. The speakers were knowledgeable and discussed the hard subjects of getting one’s legal and financial affairs in order and preplanning the inevitable funeral arrangements. As an orphan who survived war and immigration, mom was very independent and appreciated the information and the opportunity to decide these things herself.
