DriveTest is a conveniently located driver examination centre that offers a range of services, including road tests. The centre is clean and well-organized, with multiple service windows and a knowledgeable staff. Some reviewers have reported having a great experience with their road test instructors, who were professional, patient, and provided clear instructions and feedback. However, others have noted that the quality of service can vary depending on the staff member. It's recommended to arrive early to get familiar with the location and to know the driving route in advance. Overall, DriveTest is a good option for those looking to take their road test, but it's best to be prepared and flexible.
Today September the 21, 2026, I did my G2 drive test at Kingston Drive Center.
This was my second attempt.
Thanks God, I did pass.
I drive 224KM from Scarborough to take this test.
I have to share my experience with the test.
My examiner, who unfortunately I forgot his name since I was a little bit nervous, was amazing guy.
He was tall and big with dark hair and he had sunglasses on.
He was very kind and his directions during the test were very clear.
I wish every examiner be like him and anyone who will have him must be lucky like me.
The best test centre in Eastern Ontario if you ask me. Good examiners and the tests are well designed. Customer service is also good.
Btw thank you to Craig for being such a wonderful examiner. I will never forget the last words when I asked did I really pass (bc after failing the G test 4 previous times in different cities, I had fully lost hope in myself) - “you worked hard and your hard work paid off”
I had an excellent experience with both my driving instructor, Tony, and my examiner, Brandon.
Tony was an outstanding instructor who played a huge role in helping me pass my G2. He was patient, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable, always taking the time to ensure I felt comfortable and fully prepared for my test. His calm and understanding approach made learning to drive a much more enjoyable, fun and comfortable experience. I truly couldn't have asked for a better instructor.
I'm also very grateful to Brandon, my examiner, for making the testing experience far less stressful than I expected. He was polite, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process,… read full review
