What an absolute waste of time. They were contacted using their online tools in August, with strict instructions to respond only electronically during the early stages, just like their competitors do. They have flat out refused to follow that legal request for almost 8 months now. They clearly do know how to use email, as they have responded when forced to, but they choose not to, even when it is the only permission that they currently have on file. There is no valid reason as per OSFI, FINTRAC, their Head Office, or the Bank Act to refuse to communicate as per customer wishes.

Received promotion in mail. Called to inquire and took a few days to even get a response. After leaving voice messages and emails, I finally able to reach someone. I was told my person who picked up phone my loan amount is maxed. I asked him why no one called me to tell me this. He had no response. I was told employees are not able to respond to emails.

Zero customer service. If you want money with no questions asked then good luck otherwise zero customer service.

Update I left a message of complaint and still didn’t ever hear back from them. Very poor customer service. Guess it’s my win anyways from what I remember with my last loan the loan percentage is always 29.99%.

I have left messages more than once in the last year asking for a call back once to do with a loan I already had and then again this last week asking for someone to call me back regarding a loan I had applied for. Never heard anything back from the message or application. To me that poor customer service.
