I took my vehicle to this Master Mechanic location after another shop (Economy Lube on Upper Gage) misdiagnosed an engine issue and performed unnecessary work. From the start, the difference in professionalism was obvious. No BS.
They ran proper diagnostics, including inspecting the spark plugs, checking fuel trims, and performing a full compression test. Compression was a healthy 150 psi across all four cylinders. They identified the real problem — worn spark plugs and a leaking intake manifold gasket — and repaired it correctly. The repair wasn’t cheap at all, but it was fair enough for the level of diagnosis transparency and results.

I’m currently driving my old Volkswagen golf into the ground. Mike and Jim have done a phenomenal job of keeping it alive at a minimal cost. They’re always willing to work with me and give me honest feedback about the repair being worth it or not. I am now purchasing a new car and of course this is the shop that will be looking over the my choices and servicing the one I pick. Honest, reliable, stress-free, I cannot say enough good things about this place.
