I've been seeing Stephanie for a year and a half and I get less unhinged with each hour we spend together. Genuinely. Her techniques and insights have helped me move away from pathological avoidance, and closer to the person I want to be. I am a better friend, partner, co-worker, and even a better cat servant than I used to be. My mental health would be a disaster without Stephanie’s help. After thinking I was in a mentally healthy place for almost two decades, my world began to fall apart as my marriage became tumultuous and began to crumble to dust. Luckily, I had just received medical benefits at work and was able to secure my first appointment with Stephanie in a matter of days. She showed me techniques and exercises that have stuck with as things at home began to improve and then collapse once more. I have really appreciated working with Stephanie as a counsellor, both in person and virtually. She brings a calm, attentive manner to her sessions, along with a delightful spark of playfulness and creativity. She asks great questions and shares valuable resources. She has guided me through helpful somatic (body-focussed) exercises and supported me in a process of positive change and growth.
