Bayshore Home Health provides great care and services, with most PSWs being caring and compassionate. The company's staff and personnel are highly skilled and offer excellent communication. However, there have been some incidents where PSWs have treated clients with disrespect, which is unacceptable. The company's app has also been experiencing technical issues, causing inconvenience for clients. Despite these issues, the majority of clients have been grateful for the care their loved ones have received.
ok. so here is the deal. i took care of my mother and had a great deal of trouble with staff at the beginning. But, Mom ended up, after advocating and some serious issues, with a core team of ladies that were absolutely wonderful.
i’m sitting here in hindsight really missing these ladies.
We contacted Bayshore on an urgent basis, from a hospital emergency department, post surgery. They were there for us that same night so my sister could come home instead of enduring the hallway health that would have ensued. We really felt supported (thanks Lisa), like they had our backs when no one else did. Their service was flexible so after receiving support for a few days, she was able to manage on her own. The PSWs were amazing. We will be ready for the next time this happens and feel better knowing that Bayshore will be onboard.
During this year we had private care from PSWs at Bayshore Home Health to supplement the care my Dad received in his assisted care retirement residence unit. In both cases we needed care immediately and a psw was sent within hours to begin the care.
The first session lasted a few weeks, beginning with 24 hour care during an illness and then shorter sessions to supplement his regular care.
The second session of several weeks was while our Dad was palliative and in the dying process. Again the care was provided within hours through the efficient scheduler and the caregivers were absolutely exceptional, and made this difficult time bearable for our family. They didn't...read full review
