With no sense of embellishment, my floor drain was an apocalyptic nightmare. I had no idea how extensive the clog was, until Matt and Connor arrived and saved the day (and my basement). They were extremely helpful, professional, friendly, and fixed what turned out to be a monstrous clog that stretched out to the boulevard. Using the camera they were able to show me exactly where the roots/damage was, and they stuck around for 4 hours to make sure that things were moving again. I cannot stress this enough, they had to make multiple passes with the augur, showing me the ridiculous amount of blockage that they were able to remove. Above and beyond the call doesn't do them justice, they were brilliant. They were hilarious to chat with, and they told me early on that this was looking pretty grim but they werent going to leave until things were set right. I recommend these two gentlemen for any plumbing needs you may have, they are honest, fair, upfront, and will do whatever it takes to fix the problem. I wish I could give them 6 stars out of 5! In the last few years, we have started to use Jaytech Plumbing to help us out. They have fixed many issues - broken water pipes and drains in our basement, main toilet repairs, as well as fixing a major water leak in our basement. For this issue, they had to investigate the source, and then dig up our floor - which sounds worse than it actually was because they are competent, and they just took care of everything. We then got a brand new water softener installed (if you don't have a water softener in Guelph, GET ONE from Jaytech). The staff were always very helpful, friendly, respectful, and NON-judgemental. every job was very different - some bigger than others, but for a person who knows nothing about plumbing, living in an old home, a lot of these issues were really stressful. And Eric totally understands that. The costs of every job we have had done by Jaytech Plumbing have always been very reasonably priced, and fit within my expectations. I have been extremely pleased with the speed of service, quality of workmanship, friendliness & professionalism of the staff, as well as the prices.
Called Jaytech plumbing because I was having some issues with hot water consistency. They showed up exactly when they said they would, quoted the job reasonably and finished within the hour. Final invoice was exactly as quoted. The team was professional, knowledgable and they left the area immaculate. Will definitely be calling Jaytech plumbing for my next plumbing jobs.
