I started getting my haircut at Charlie’s 20 years ago when I lived in Grimsby. I now live in Toronto and I still drive to Charlie’s for my haircut. It is that good…and enjoyable!
About Charlie's Barber Shop
Charlie's Barber Shop is a long-standing gem in Grimsby, with some clients returning for over 20 or 35 years, even traveling from other cities. The barbers, including a master barber with decades of experience, provide fantastic, quality haircuts with great attention to detail for a great price. Services include scissor cuts. The atmosphere is enjoyable and entertaining, with friendly and charming chitchat. The staff are described as friendly, lovely, truly entertaining, and excellent with kids, forming a dynamic duo. It is a favourite shop that embodies the charm of a small town business. An appointment is now needed, but same-day booking is possible. Some feedback notes it is a cash-only business.

I went here a long time ago and have gone to several locations since but I can't get a better haircut, especially for the price. The chitchat is entertaining and always friendly. Highly recommend them but now you have to book an appointment, which I got the same day.

George is still a master barber. With 60 years of experience he is still going strong, his attention to detail has not changed in the 35 years I have been going there. He is such a gentleman and a all around great human. I have returned to town after some time away and Charlie makes me remember why I love small town businesses. Sandy is such a lovely lady as well. They are definately the towns dynamic duo. Thank you both for making all of us look so darn good.
