“I broke my tooth this morning after eating breakfast - after my local dentists having no openings - I called around and this dentist office called me back and could see me today - otherwise my option would have been who knows when, which I was extremely grateful for - everyone was nice and courteous and helpful explaining things, my only disappointment was they couldn’t do anything based on time left in the day and the next long appointment available wasn’t until September 22, 2026 - 19 days away - expressed in pain on one side and didn’t want to have an infection before the appointment day on the other side - dentist said to call back if I needed any antibiotics- I wish they would have written one - if I needed I could fill - if not then all good - we are heading into the long weekend, I understand things are busy. They did offer and put me on their cancellation list (which can take me over an hour to get to an appointment - depending on the day) which again I am grateful and they can only do what they can do - just upset that dentists are limited in rural Northern Ontario and that leaves the dentists that are in our area booked without any wiggle room for emergencies - I have had a dentist for almost 30 years before he retired and he did it all, cleanings, treatments and x-rays and it’s been a struggle to keep the same dentist since. Glad I was seen today and the staff was pleasant just couldn’t get complete service as I had hoped to today.”
