My furnace went south on us on Tuesday. Bad news, need a new one. North Channel are great folks to deal with . The techs are top notch, and service is quick. After the dead furnace diagnosis, the sales rep stopped in at the house, talked about replacement cost and type of unit. Gave me a quote while he was there. I discussed it with my wife and son and called him later that afternoon and gave them the go ahead. Thursday was the soonest day they could do the install. In the mean time the technician left us 3 portable heaters to try and make us comfortable. amazing people. Later that evening I got a call from them stating that they had rearranged some work and could do the install on Wednesday, if it was ok with me. OK, I couldn't thank him enough Wednesday the install was done, all went great, many changes and I couldn't be happier. They are great people, quick to serve you, and all local. In the spring of 2022 we wanted to upgrade the heat source in our off-grid home. Bob recommended a Rinnai propane heater paired with a 1500 w eliminator inverter and a Noco Genpro 10x2 charger and two lithium marine batteries. We run our generator about 6 hours a day and the batteries run the heater fan for 18 hours overnight and during the day. The system has worked flawlessly for three years and easily heats our home cost effectively. It worked so well we had Bob and his staff install a second one in another building. We also had them install Navien hot water heaters , propane and off-grid electric fridges. Professional advice , workmanship and service.
