“I moved into this area last year in March. Asked the locals for suggestions. First one was a work from home woman who was very nice, the salon was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that she left me in the room by myself for over an hour with nothing to read so I had to scroll through my phone. A check in would have been nice.
The next place was in Deep River at a local home. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable she did a great job on my colour and cut! Unfortunately when I called for another appointment I found out she had retired. Next stop Elaine's Styles and Smiles in Deep River. Started out well... salon was clean and Elaine was very nice. Explained that I wanted a trim and wash, colour and blow dry. Had a wash, colour and blow dry... and then she cut 4 inches of hair off! I literally cried for a week every time I looked in the mirror. My neighbour suggested Figaro's. It was Prom week so they were extremely busy and suggested I come in after things settled down. They were pretty busy with the owner off on holidays but they booked me in for a few days later when things had settled down. YAY! Finally had my hair washed, coloured and trimmed properly! I highly recommend Figaro's!!”
