Chaplin Family YMCA offers fantastic aquatic classes led by dedicated instructors who inspire and engage participants. The facility is well-equipped with plenty of workout space, and while it can get busy, waits for equipment are rare. The friendly staff, especially at the front desk, provide exceptional service, ensuring members feel valued. Overall, the YMCA is known for its professional classes and attentive staff, making it a great place for fitness and community.
Very spacious and doesn't feel cramped at all
Swimming pool is as big as Markham's if not bigger. Court is not wood but the material is very sticky in a good way. You won't slide at all. Studios are big. Been to Markham and Oshawa Y First time and I've never seen this ladder machine before.
Members plus is decent, sauna, steam, and whirlpool all work well.
Only downside is side is you only get 2 towels, and filtered drinking fountains are scarce, other than that the facility/amenities are great.
All of the Aquatic Instructors are absolutely fantastic! Both Anne and Monica, as well as, Jane dedicate themselves to providing the best possible water classes helping us to improve our skills and strengths to achieve our goals in the pool. At the same time making the classes inspirational and the most fun! Thank you to the instructors and the lifeguards for such professional level water classes! M ??♀️
