Thanks to a lovely Yelp giveaway, I got to explore the Sunflower festival. Love the incorporation of fun photo opts and the endless field of sunflowers. There is a market that happens every weekend along with some evenings that offer activities like yoga. The weekend I went didn't have the market and it would be great to have more food vendors as you would have to drive out for more options. It's a great experience in the peak period of Sunflowers and perfect for families, groups and anyone trying it out for the first time.The admission price is affordable and perfect if you are nearby. Had a great time here walking among the sunflowers and listening to the great live music! The sunflower fields are large with wide pathways mazed around. On the beautiful and spacious property you will find rustic cars, couches, tree swings and old timey pianos for photo opportunities and entertainment purposes. Their amazing staff are both friendly and helpful. Lots of parking on site and did I mention how great the overall experience was? This was definitely the highlight of my summer. I love sunflowers and farmland. There weren't any bugs during the day, but mosquitoes did eventually come out around 8:45pm. Be sure to pack sunscreen!
