My daughter (12) and I (41,father) are getting our pedicures done at this very moment.Her birthday was last week and this is what she wanted...Anyway, I have gross workboot feet.The lady digging away at my toes is a real trooper. No pain caused. Even though the sides of my nails rest really deep on my big toes. I'm embarrassed by the amount of "jam" she's freeing up.She's got a cheese grater working the rough part of my heels. Never had that before.It's a bit difficult to understand them clearly because of their accent. But we're managing.We started at the same time. My daughter is off to get her fingernails painted. Only paid $$39 for almond shaped acrylics.I read the bad reviews before coming here. I don’t understand their issues. Someone says “they talk to other employees while their doing your nails. That’s rude because it’s a service.” Yes, they do talk to each other whilst doing your nails, but I wasn’t talkative in the first place. What do you want them to do, sit there in silence? They’re human beings. They even have a tv in there. I was entertained. And people also say “she was hurting me”. Yes, sometimes filling or clipping hurts. They are not mind readers. I don’t usually do reviews, but they were so sweet and patient with my very hyper toddler and did a wonderful job painting her nails as well. I couldn’t find a photo of what I wanted but she did a really good job still. I’m used to getting hurt when they file but this was the first time I didn’t leave a salon with cuts and file burns. They’re also not overly thick which I really like, and considering my daughter was bouncing around I expected some mistakes but they didn’t make a single one. I’m already excited to go back!
