Foodcon is a design and construction firm with over 45 years of service to the food processing industry. The company’s first project, in 1975, was the design and construction of a provincially inspected poultry slaughter plant. Before that project was even completed, Foodcon was selected to undertake renovations to a federally inspected mechanically separated meat plant. The relationship with both clients grew and many additions, renovations, and new plants were completed for these companies and their successors. As time moved on, Foodcon expanded into other types of food facilities including meat further processing (raw and RTE), bakery, tofu, vegetables, ingredients, deserts, and gluten free.
