I went in to have new cam phasers installed on my F-150 3.5L EcoBoost. So far so good. My engine is running like new again. This is a major job that requires a lot parts yo be removed. On the outside of the engine everything looks good. Neatly reassembled and no oil leaks. Better price than the dealership and I am in my opinion, do e better. I would definitely recommend Henderson Tire & Automotive. The reception at the front tesk was great and they kept me informed with the timeline for the work getting finished as well.
I recently had spacers installed on my half ton truck at another shop and started noticing a shake at highway speeds. Since Henderson Automotive is close by, I decided to bring it in to have it checked out.
Right away they identified the issue. The spacers that were installed were not hub centric, even though I had specifically requested that from the original shop. They took the time to explain everything clearly and showed me exactly what was causing the problem.
They recommended switching to proper hub centric spacers and handled the installation for me. The difference was immediate. My truck now drives smooth at all speeds with no vibration at all.
