I phoned looking for just a couple of stones to replace broken ones, not realizing that Domenic and team are landscapers, and not retailers. I was ready to say my goodbyes but Domenic asked me to send him a picture of the stone that I was interested in. Because of his experience dealing with landscaping shops, he offered to help me out and maybe direct me.
This act of kindness to a stranger, and with no expectation of gain, speaks volumes to me about the man's character. It also speaks to Domenic's knowledge, because I found the stones at the retailer that he suggested :-). Guess who I'm going to call when I need some landscaping work done in future?
