Warning: angry and highly unprofessional owner/operator at this establishment! My appointment lasted about 10 minutes from when Laura answered the door to when she asked me if I wanted to leave. In between those two moments she seemed annoyed with me no matter what I said or did. At about minute 3 of my visit I new I'd never come back and it just went downhill from there. When I answered yes to her question (would I like to leave) I also asked her why she was angry with me and she said it was because I assumed she didn't charge tax; not an uncommon thing for a home business owner to not charge tax; not the offense worthy of that much animosity. My first visit will be my last. Friendly is not among the qualities I would give the owner and manucurist. Peharps if you are a new customer you are not as welcome ? As a reporter and on-air personality I am obligated to look decent from head-to-toe and thus I do spend alot of time and money in hair salon, nail salon, etc. I have never felt so unwelcome. Perhaps, I would have excused the lack of friendliness had I been blown away by her work, I don't know what to think of all the good reviews on the website? What I do know is that I will be driving the extra mile to have my nails done by someone who looks or act as if they care about their customer.

In response to Laura's reply: First off, I did sign a client profile, but to my knowledge my nails didn't lift or break, they just started popping off 3 days later (well, the first one, they kept popping off each day after). I think people should still stand behind a product, if it turns out somehow it was defective, which I believe is the case. Regardless, I was willing to pay the money for the repair of one nail even if she wasn't going to honour the guarantee, because I thought, oh well, it's just one nail, and sometimes maybe things can happen like that, but when I'd lost 5 of out 10 before one week was over, I was worried it was less of a... read full review
