The first time I came to Essence my hair was damaged and I was scared to use a new hairdresser because I never really trusted new people doing my hair. However the stylist Mickey was very understanding with how I felt. And she was very professional and allowed me to voice my concerns. She explained to me what she would do and at the end of my appointment I was extremely happy with my hair. She treats her clients with the upmost respect once they walk in. Always amazing service with our barber Stephan, my son Logan who's 4 has been seeing him since 2.5 years old and loves the way he looks and feels after getting a fresh fade and designs. His energy is so calming and chill making the experience positive. Highly recommended.

I made an appointment with the Hairdresser in the back named Mickey. I love that she was ready for me at the time I made the appointment. I went in for a wash and flat iron and trim on my natural hair but remembered that I needed to dye my grays and get a treatment. She was awesome, she managed to do everything I requested and I never felt like I was waiting. She's very professional and I love the results. My hair was light and straight. I would recommend Mickey to anyone. She's been there for years , she's reliable and punctual and very versatile.
