“This is in response to the one star review provided 1 month ago.

Laura is absolutely the best this town has to offer. Not only does she communicate well, but she also asks questions and gets answers quickly. She was absolutely stellar in the purchase of our home. With that being said, I’d like to clear the air on some incorrect information previously provided.

When we met with Laura for our final walk through, I’ll never forget the compassion she showed us. We were surprised when we walked in and found a dirty house that smelled like a cat box with the letters “F U” written with thumbtacks on the cork board (real classy). But the sellers agent stepped up and arranged for a house cleaner to come the next day and Laura immediately arranged for a carpet cleaner to come. She did not hesitate to make things right, no matter what. Both my sons are allergic to cats and we found cat litter on the bathroom floor. I wouldn’t leave a mess like that for my worst enemy, but apparently that was the sellers way of getting us back at us for all the things she said we did wrong; of which is completely untrue.

First off, yes, our realtor did bring her son with her to look at the home. She thought I was bringing my son who is the same age but we left him with his older brother. And her son is very well behaved. Her child did not “make a mess of” any toys or books as previously stated.

Second, is the earnest money. The offer was accepted on Thursday, October 24th and earnest money was received on Tuesday October 29th. Per Oklahoma state law, a buyer has 3 business days to put up the earnest money. Weekends don’t count. So it was received ON TIME. Not “almost a week later” as previously mentioned. So again, this one star review is based on inaccurate information.

Third, the AC inspection. No one asked for a technician to make repairs on it, just for it to be inspected. As buyers, we had the right to request for anything to be inspected, that’s how buying a house works. You can’t deny access to these inspections, especially when WE are paying for them.

Fourth, “buyers wanted to come weekly.” We asked to come ONCE to measure the back door for a dog door and also measure the fridge space and the washer and dryer space. However, these attempts were denied or met with, “I’ll let you know when it’s a good time.” So we kept trying. So saying we asked to see the house weekly is a flat out lie. We only needed to come ONCE but you would not budge with scheduling. Finally, when you agreed on a time, you were 15 minutes late in leaving. And we weren’t even inside for 10 mins. So again, incorrect information provided in a review.

Lastly, I wanted to say how calm and collected Laura remains even when she is faced with a huge challenge. She has the willpower I can only dream of. I’m proud to call her our realtor and she will always be our go-to girl. If you want a hard working company to help you buy or sell, she’s the lady you need to call.
