Natalie was fantastic! I have a little wave to my hair and it can be hard for some to cut/style it and Natalie was amazing and she was able to give me some tips and tricks to help my hair. Can't wait to go back to get my hair dyed.
This place in Warr Acres is the definition of creative versatility. Marti Rickman is the owner and mastermind behind such a unique and multipurpose space. The Clips part refers to a hair salon in the back of the building. You can come to take care of all your hairstyling needs. The Hips part refers to the dance studio in the front of the building. I attended a Salsa class given by Henry Tran and it was super fun. No previous signup is needed, I just saw a flyer on social media and showed up. I paid for the class afterwards via Venmo. Super easy! The floor is great, there was enough space, and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend! Marti is from Colombia and is engaged in a lot of great dance events in the city along with her daughter, Layla, who is also an amazing dancer. All ages are welcome to book a class - from cumbia to Zumba.
My friend rented this place out for her birthday party. We learned how to do the flamenco dance with instructor Marti Rickman. This space is so unique because it is a salon slash dance studio. I would definitely come back for more lessons in the future! If you like to learn different styles of dance, check this place out!
