I highly recommend Dr. Scott Reid as an exceptional orthopedic specialist. Unfortunately, Soonercare refused to cover my surgery, citing 20 minutes of pain relief as sufficient, forcing me to cancel the procedure. I was informed of this decision by Dr. Reid's nurse after completing my pre-admission visit the previous day. I was devastated by this news and am still in disbelief that Soonercare considers 20 minutes of pain relief adequate to cancel a hip replacement procedure. Dr Small did a fantastic job on my December 12th total hip replacement. Just two weeks post-surgery, I am walking without a walker or cane. My incision looks great and healing. Probably one of the fastest and most respectable medical facilities I've visited in Tulsa. I was into my appointment quickly, the staff moved through the process professionally while still being friendly, and attentive.
The attending was fast, professional, and also did not waste a bunch of my time while still listening to my concerns.
The brace shop, adjacent to the building, which sets you up with braces and casts, got me in and out quickly, the tech was a marvel at his job 10/10
