First experience with Buckingham Group --(see second experience below) We first met Ed (owner of ‘The Buckingham Group’) at the Tulsa Home and Garden show but was concerned that he wouldn’t be interested in remodeling our small kitchen in Mid-Town. After visiting with him (in his booth), he convinced us that sometimes the smaller projects are some of the most rewarding. After an initial consultation, he provided a set of design plans that depicted “out of the box” innovation and creativity that maximized the space we had available. The company was very professional in all aspects of the project from the design phase to the sub-contractors. It was definitely quality through and through. The entire project was well planned and scheduled. The Buckingham Group is detail oriented, they’re diligent about doing things the “Right Way”, they use quality sub-contractors, and they demonstrated great communication throughout the project. From design conception to the finished project, everything was exceptional. In the end, the finished kitchen looked even better than we ever imagined it would look! My wife was overwhelmed with emotion when she saw how incredible the kitchen looked when the project was completed. She never thought she would ever have a kitchen that looked this nice. Ed and the Buckingham Group will definitely be our choice for any future renovation/remodeling projects. Second wonderful experience with Buckingham Group ------ The Buckingham Group previously did a design build kitchen remodel for us that we were extremely happy with. As a result, of this experience, we didn't hesitate to use them again when we decided to re-construct our driveway and porch. Here are just a few things that separate them from everyone else: • A project 'Design' phase that covers the client’s requirements and the detail for project estimation costs. This is an important part of the process to ensure that both parties understand the scope of the project. • The use of high-quality subcontractors that deliver quality workmanship, attention to detail, and good communication skills. • Project management throughout the process to ensure that tasks are completed timely, in the right sequence, and within budget. • Progress payments based on completion of pre-defined milestones and client satisfaction. • Flexibility to modify the project plan when extenuating circumstances dictate or when driven by the client. In the end, Ed and The Buckingham Group delivered another exceptional project that exceeded our expectation, was completed on time, and within the quoted project cost. Over several years, The Buckingham Group has completed two remodeling projects for us. The first project was a complete renovation of the kitchen and primary bedroom/bathroom suite which required moving walls, plumbing, electrical, and laying a gas line. In addition, the powder bath was remodeled and cosmetic improvements were made to the entire main floor. Ed has many strengths but his ability to walk into a room and visualize better function is beyond compare. He then takes his vision and applies it to detailed drawings and blueprints so everyone is in agreement before the project begins. Ed is thorough and prepared a detailed plan of the work schedule including electrical and plumbing. All permits were secured and licensed contractors performed all of the work. This project was completed nearly 10 years ago and has withstood the test of time which is a reflection of the quality of the skilled craftsman Ed employs. Most recently, Buckingham remodeled our laundry room. We did not have the square footage to change the footprint so the room was redesigned with new lighting, sink, cabinetry, and flooring making the room function much better. We have been very pleased with everything and are proud homeowners.
