Although they do good work, they do get you in rather quickly however I think they do leverage the language barrier to upsell services. I did get gel pedicure and dip/manicure was 95$ without a tip. I'm always sticker shocked. their reward progragm is PER VISIT not services you pay for which is disappointing. A relaxing "spa" like experience is no longer a thing. I do not like feeling rushed but this feeling is not exclusive to this salon but other nail salons as well.
My favorite cousin and I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure at Professionail which wasn’t far from my mom’s place. I did check the reviews before entering the premises. They had a 4.1 rating which I considered worthy of a visit.
We were immediately taken to our pedi-chairs (Lol) and they went to work. Thu (pronounced Two) worked on me and Walker (the reviews recommended him) worked on my cousin. I brought in a picture of what I wanted. Jimmy did an amazing job of doing the design! He had a very steady hand for the tiny details of the blueberries 🫐 My favorite nail design I’ve ever had.
