My mother- in-law was in here for hospice care. It is without a doubt the best run operation of this type. It is clean, caring, & addresses all the issues affecting the client & their family in dealing with such a difficult experience

Losing someone close is never easy. The nurses and techs here were wonderful. As a nurse myself, I couldn't have made my brother more comfortable. Thank you all for making this easier on our family!

Special place. The staff here is very caring and compassionate. They care for people at their end of life and give them excellent care. Can't say enough about the staff at this facility!

From Porta Caeli House at Catholic Charities

Since January 2017, Porta Caeli House at Catholic Charities has been ensuring dignity and comfort during the dying process, all while helping guests make the most of their final journey. The staff and volunteers at Porta Caeli give guests a peaceful place and support their families during this difficult time. Care includes personal hygiene, assistance with activities of daily living, and meals. Under the directive of licensed hospice agencies, our home gives medications as a family member would within their own home. Because our home is an extension of the person's home, guests are cared for as though they are family.
