Terrible at business. Lumber is not worth the price for how rude they are.We would get lumber frequently and they would never offer to help. My husband even cut himself one time with a board that he had to go to ER. We never complained and one time he went and they just told him to stop going. Why? Because he would frequently check boards to make sure they were safe for our small animal rescue. They were upset he would move boards around. We spent hundreds a month and he would always put them back. They charge more than lowes, Home Depot, Stillwater and Perkins building. It seems they only like serving certain customers. I’ve been to other Hughes stores and this is the only one I’ve had any issues with. I’ve also spoken to others who have experienced the same. It’s a shame they don’t care about customer experience.

They would get upset because we wanted to make sure all boards were sap free before buying so they would be safe for our animal rescueTold us they didn’t want to do business with us just because we would look through for good boardsOnly went when we didn’t have any other optionsEven lowes has better boards and costs lessStillwater building and Perkins building are also great options
