I was being proactive yesterday and hooked up our little generator to the house. I had never used it before for the house. It worked pretty well until it started missing and surging. Unfortunately the power surged also and knocked out our electronic thermostat. At 5:30 I went to Lowes looking for an electric heater (sold out) and bought a new thermostat. I got the thermostat installed, but still no heat from the furnace. So we went to bed with our wood stove blazing and an electric heater in the bedroom. Coldest the house ever got was 68 degrees. So we did fine. Danielle called every local heating and air company this morning, but no one was able to get out in this weather. The last company she called was Spark’s Heating and Air. They weren’t able to come out either, but the receptionist suggested that I could speak with Mr. Spark. He lead me through the problem pointed me to a fuse that might be blown. I found the fuse, replaced it and now we have heat. Spark’s is now top on my list. A great company if you need heating and air work done. He did take the time to help me.
We have done business with these good folks for years...Never let us down and always knew what they were doing....Yesterday afternoon our A/C went out. It was about 4:30pm and when I called, the techs were finishing up jobs for the day....The dispatcher asked one of the crews that was already in the yard, if they could do another house call..they were ready to go in minutes...they were at our house in 18min and had the A/C diagnosed and repaired in another 25min....Great work guys, and I am proud to tell other folks out there that Sparks Heat and Air is standing by....
