They did a great job, were very professional at all levels, and cleaned up everything to my satisfaction. Their price was fair and they didn’t try to oversell. I appreciated their approach and delivery.Services: Roof installation“

“When we bought our house, it came with a metal roof. A few years in, it started leaking everywhere. Water damage in multiple rooms. I had a bunch of roofers come out to look at it, and they all told me the same thing: the roof had been installed wrong, and the only real fix was a whole new roof.
So I'd ask these guys for estimates, and they'd give me the runaround. Said they did metal roofing, then wouldn't return my calls. When I'd ask them basic questions about metal seam, they didn't have answers. I reckon it was because they didn't actually do metal roofing.
After a couple years of this, I found Metals Better. Metal roofing is all they do. Ezra came out with his crew, inspected everything, and had me walk him through where we were getting the leaks. Then they drew up a plan for a roof that wouldn't leak and would last. Ezra even drove me around Tulsa to see jobs they'd done before. All top notch. We signed.
He took his time helping us pick the color and never once rushed us or got pushy. They started in January and worked through the freezing cold with snow on the ground. The crew was meticulous. Ezra was out there every single day checking on things, and I got regular status reports. They'd work 8 AM to 7 PM, Saturdays included. They replaced the water-damaged wood and put in an ice and rain barrier. Our roof is steep with some weird nooks and crannies (which is exactly where the previous guys cut corners and caused the leaks). Moises, the crew chief, handled all those spots himself. Absolute pro.
By mid-March we had a beautiful new metal roof on before the spring rains hit. Hasn't leaked once. It's a great feeling to go to bed during a storm and not lie there listening to that drop, drop, drop. They cleaned everything up, came back to double-check their work, rehung the gutters, and even fixed some gutter issues we'd been having.
A few things to know about metal seam: it's expensive, but done right it'll last forever (at least 75 years). Our home insurance actually went down. It also takes way more work and craftsmanship than shingles. A shingle roof you can knock out in a day or two. Ours took eight weeks. That's two months of guys on your roof and supplies in your yard, so if you go this route, be patient.
If you want a metal seam roof, you can't go wrong with Metals Better. They're the best in the Tulsa area, because that's all they do.“
