When I was on vacation and needed emergency treatment, this hospital was 3 minutes away from the hotel where I lived. We walked in directly, because it was Saturday, and there were only two male nurses on duty. They received me warmly, and I filled in all the information , they helped me make an appointment with the face time doctor, a very touching visit, and quickly made a quick diagnosis of my condition. I got my medicine at a nearby Walmart, and it only took about an hour and a half to finish the whole process. After a few days of traveling, my symptoms gradually eased, and I am very grateful to this hospital for helping me!

The phones get answered! The people are always polite. I can always get in for an appointment. I literally can't ask for more from a clinic. ALWAYS UNDERSTANDABLE. Really glad they are here now.

The Poteau Health & Wellness is a wonderful place to work and it has very friendly staff who are willing to listen and help. Even when it is something that they don't treat for, such as needing help with food, housing, etc...they try to help everyone the best they can with the resources they have.The staff treats everyone with compassion and the care they need and they even help save patients money by offering the sliding fee scale, which is based on income and the amount of individuals supported with that income.Highly recommend this Health & Wellness clinic!! <3
