I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts for over 20 years, and I’ve never been so impressed with an office as I am with Tanya Mayer’s. I called her office after waking up with a major loss of vision in just one eye, I wasn’t even a patient yet but she squeezed me in that same day. Taking on a new patient in an emergency situation when she was most likely pretty booked up speaks volumes about her character. She was thorough with trying to figure out what was going on, asked a ton of questions, and took all of my responses and concerns seriously. I’ve since brought my son to her because of his eyes not wanting to focus and again was amazed at how she was with him- and I’ve seen her again myself for a regular contact exam. I could go on to write a short novel about how happy and impressed I am with her practice but to wrap this review up- if facebook still allowed you to give a 5 star review I would give her 10. ⭐️
I have used them now for about 4 years. Always love the staff. They are certainly caring and will do anything fir you they can!
She changed my script power. When I put my new contacts in, I told her the power was wrong. She couldn't grasp how that could be possible. Her and staff said to give it a week for my eyes to adjust.. I went back a week later. She changed my power in one eye so the vision match BUT IT IS STILL WRONG. I told her far sight is off and reading up close was terrible. She told me my close sight changes. I asked "over night?". She said yes. sometimes. Funny how it waited to change till the day I screwed up and went to her. I can't see at distances well and reading anything requires stronger reading glasses. Now that I have been to there, others i have spoken to have had the same problems with her. Do yourself a favor. find a different place. Not only is she terrible at her job, she refuses to acknowledge she has messed up. Oh, and that followup they told me to come back to fix her mistakes, I received a bill for $50 more. I argued that one. Took calling back a couple times and got that bill dropped but no apology.
