“Janice VanBrundt is great and my Mom Kathye Winslow has been going here for well over 30 years. Shop is easy to get into and out of. They have a lot of long term customers and know how to treat any customers but do super great with Senior citizens. There are multiple services here, and they do cut, wash, color, nails and sell outfits and accessories like purses and jewelry. It's easy to get an appointment. The pricing is good and good value. They care and they know what makes for a comfortable visit. Janice is of Czechoslovakian heritage and my Mom is too. Janice was the Master Baker for the Yukon Czech Festival and teaches us words, phrases and recipes in Czech. She is very connected to the world Czech and Slovak community. There are about five operators in the house that is the shop. They all schedule their own appointments and can help get you in with others if they are not going to be there. Janice VanBrundt has been at this location for a while. She wants to serve elder hair care needs and when this shop location closes, she will still provide services at places like Concordia Village and Epworth Villa.
