Other than not always having the dog food I'm looking for, our doodle loves this store. When we say PetSmart, she knows that's her store and she gets to go shopping. I don't use their grooming (bad experience) but the store seems clean, pretty well stocked, and most clerks are friendly and seem to really like the pets that come in. We don't get there often as I order from their parent company and the heavy bag of food is delivered to my door.
I take my dog for grooming and all the groomers that have done Basher are excellent. They check him before grooming and they are careful to groom any special requests to order. I ask for his paws to be clipped close and they do a wonderful job. They text me and call me when he's ready. Excellent service at reasonable prices!
We were on a six week RV trip and, after repeatedly finding ticks on me, I became concerned for my 11 year old lab. We were leaving OK the next day and I was having difficulty finding a vet or groomer who could schedule her that same day. Petsmart had an opening so I took her in for her first-ever professional grooming. The receptionist (cashier 565452) was an absolute doll and immediately did a tick check, to which she felt none, which definitely made me feel better. "Lilly" had been in every questionable body of water from California to New York to Oklahoma and, although it makes her happy, she really was a mess. Emma the groomer did an AMAZING job, I can't thank her enough, from the ear cleaning to the nail trim to the removal of all that excess English Lab fur; my chocolate came out beautiful and she really enjoyed the experience which I did not expect. But my favorite moment was when Lilly recognized the cashier behind the counter as the receptionist that had checked her in...her face lit up, she proceeded behind the counter and wrapped her body around her to say thank you to her! I realize it is not good manners to allow my dog into her space, especially for the poor cashier trying to work, but I had never seen her do this to a stranger. Thank you both SO much! Well worth the money!!!!
