Our Blood Institute is an excellent and convenient place to donate blood. The staff is very friendly and kind, creating a friendly atmosphere in the always clean location. Scheduling an appointment on their website or app makes it very easy to get in, with visits going fast, often just under an hour in and out. The phlebotomists do a great job. Donors receive drinks and light snacks during donation and recovery, and sometimes special promotional items like t-shirts. It seems like a well-run place where they genuinely care for each donor.
I try to give blood 3-4 times a year at my office. Seems like after Covid our office just isn't the same...coordinating, etc.
OBI called, setup an appointment for that afternoon, and I came in to their location in Norman. Exceptional! Was in/out quickly and had a ready appetite for dinner.
Crew made it a painless experience..pun intended.
Please give. The life you save maybe one closer than you'd think.
The entire staff is friendly and professional. This is my go-to location for donating. Again, the entire staff is great and I also want to specifically mention Mike, Richie, and Hannah. All three are top notch!
The staff here are friendly and are great at helping to increase our comfort. They also have one of the best post-donation snack areas I've seen, and we almost always seem to get some form of goodie (t-shirt, bag, etc) for donating.
