The staff here really went above and beyond for my son. He is a toddler and I know places like that can be scary, even for adults. They were so caring and thoughtful in the way they cared for a child. They brought him a cold washcloth for his eye, brought him stickers, and one nurse even made him a balloon man with a cute face on it out of a glove. It was so cute.
We went there fearing a stroke as suddenly I could not walk straight or even stand up assisted. From the Security Guard at the admission desk who immediately got wheel chair and helped me safely down, to the admissions clerk, nurses, and techs to Dr. Sanchez everyone treated me very well. Tonight I went to the ER for some post op complications. I was greeted promptly and I was treated promptly. I find the care at the healthplex to be disappointing and infuriating every time so imagine my surprise tonight to land a super kind care team. From check in to discharge everybody was very friendly and caring but I’d like to note two in particular - nurse Lorrie to start! Lorrie was friendly, caring and so sweet. She was happy to talk and distract me from the bad, while doing all she could to help me comfortable and get my needs met. Dr Baughman (spelling may be off) was on the ball also.
