When the day finally came, I showed up without an appointment because I knew I needed to give Princess a peaceful and dignified passing. The staff immediately understood the weight of the moment. They moved with quiet urgency and compassion and got us into a room right away.

The entire process was handled with such care that it felt as beautiful as something this heartbreaking could possibly be. They treated Princess like someone who mattered. They treated me like someone who was doing their best to honor a long and meaningful relationship. They even made a written agreement to hold her for private cremation until I could take care of the fee, which is an act of compassion I will never forget.

Seventeen years is a lifetime of memories, routines, and love. Southwest Veterinary Clinic helped me give Princess the peaceful goodbye she deserved. Their kindness, professionalism, and humanity made an unbearable moment bearable. I am profoundly grateful for the way they showed up for us.
