“I desperately needed a cut and Duncan Bros could get me in on the same day. At first when I walked in, I wasn't sure about it. The receptionist was a little quiet. I'm not sure that she welcomed me in, but she was polite when confirming my appointment. There was rubbish on a couple of the chairs, and hair spread across the front door mat and on the floor. So I wasn't too sure. But it turned out to be a great haircut at a very reasonable price.“

Tiffony did a fantastic job, everything is straight, perfect lines, and trimmed eyebrows as well. Stephanie did a great job with my hair, which is naturally curly. So many people don't know what to do with curly hair, but it's perfectly layered so I don't look like I'm wearing a chia pet on my head, and she put product in it that doesn't weigh it down but still tames the frizz. Great place to go that won't break the bank.“

I have a very sensitive scalp and I’m extremely tender-headed, so I’m usually nervous going into braid appointments… but I didn’t feel any tension or pulling at all. That alone says everything. You can tell they use high-quality hair and products because my scalp feels so good, even after getting braids.

I got medium knotless braids and they are exactly what I asked for — neat, clean, and SO pretty. The parts are crisp, the braids are lightweight, and the overall finish is just beautiful.

What really stood out to me was the timing. Normally this style takes forever, but she worked efficiently and had an assistant helping, so everything moved quickly without cutting corners.

I love my hair. I feel good. I will absolutely be booking LaKiesha all summer long!
