I just want to THANK YOU, Dr Brian Birdwell and your excellent staff! I have never seen a doctor care for his patients as much as you do, even made a house call when I was unable to get to the clinic. And when I do get to the clinic, I am never rushed thru my appointment so the doctor can move on to his next patient. He takes the time to find out everything that is happening in my life, and makes sure all my prescriptions are up to date so I'm never without my medication. I have been a patient of Dr Birdwell for a good number of years, my mother was also a patient of his until she passed away in March 2013. I cannot imagine changing doctors for any reason. My first appointment at Main St. Clinic was so much more than I had anticipated! When I walked in the door Gabrielle greeted me with a big smile and instantly put me at ease. Kelly (nurse) took my vitals and asked all the new patient questions. She is such a kind, warm person! I felt as though I was talking to a friend! Then Katherine (nurse practitioner) entered the room with a big smile! She spent an hour and forty five minutes with me and was incredibly down to earth and thorough! I still can’t believe the amount of care I received at this appointment. I can honestly say I have never experienced a doctor’s visit like this one. MainStreet Clinic is a direct primary care membership clinic offering innovative medical care in the old-fashioned style of a personal physician caring for each one individually. Clinic services include complete primary care, with or without insurance coverage, occupational services for employers, paternity and drug testing. Brian Birdwell, MD earned his BA from Yale University, and completed his medical degree and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma. Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Later training included clinical epidemiology at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, and a vascular medicine fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. He served six years as a medical doctor in the U.S. Army.
