“I cannot recommend Melanie enough! I came to her needing a color correction and hoping to go from black hair to a rich auburn color with lots of dimension. Not only did she achieve exactly what I was hoping for, but she exceeded my expectations. The final result is absolutely gorgeous. It is warm, vibrant, dimensional, and somehow even better than I had imagined.

What truly sets Melanie apart, though, is how kind, attentive, and professional she is. From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt heard and valued as a client. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and made sure she understood my vision before getting started. She is genuinely the only stylist I have ever been to who truly listened to what I had to say and then worked to bring that vision to life.

“Went to Hott Mess for the first time ever and loved how my hair came out! I asked for blonde, chunky highlights and they came out not only how I asked, but better. Plus they style your hair for free, and my curls never hold (because of my thin hair) but they held for days! Martha did my hair btw, she was able to hold a conversation and was very gentle with my hair. And after doing all that, it only took an hour and a half. I was very happy with how everything turned out and will be coming back!!“
