“We have been getting our hair cut at Country Club Barbering for several years and have always appreciated the quality, service and value. This place is truly an old fashioned barbershop, which is what I like so much about it (cash only). I've enjoyed hearing Mike tell the history of his shop and the relationships he has made over the years. He has had the shop since the early 1970s. When my son and I first started going there (7 years ago) it was Mike and 3 other barbers working there...now it's just Mike and Laverne. When we first started going there it was a challenge to drag my son in there for a haircut, now he willingly goes and brags about how good his hair looks afterwards. If you are the type of customer who appreciates nostalgia, no frills, and a good hair cut at a fair price ($15) this is the place for you. Also, Laverne is quite the story teller and I've enjoyed overhearing her conversations with others even if she is not cutting my hair. These types of barbershops are becoming a thing of the past, which Mike and Laverne will attest to.“
