Garvin County Veterinary Hospital is a warm and welcoming place for pets, with staff who are caring, gracious, and gentle. They take the time to answer questions and provide accommodating, skilled veterinary care at reasonable prices. Dr. Gilmore, known for his compassion towards animals and clients, is the veterinarian on staff. Tom, who has been caring for pets for many years, is highly regarded as the best vet and is known for treating animals as if they were his own. The hospital is a permanent vet home for many happy clients and their pets. It is recommended to make an appointment, as they do not accept walk-ins, but they can be called for after-hours emergencies if the vet is available. The barn-red building has no sign but is well-loved by the community for their excellent care and affordable prices.
I have been coming here for years. Cats and dogs, at least 10 different animals. Always the lowest cost and best service. They will not perform extra unnecessary steps just to make money. In this world of unending lies this is one of the few places that can still be trusted to do honest business.
We drive 3 hours round trip from OKC where vets are plenttiful to see Dr. Tom Gilmore. He is so far above all the other vets we have ever been to in knowledge and caring and compassion! He takes the time to figure out what is going on with a pet! We can't say enough good things! Dr. Gilmore is a special kind of vet that are in short supply these days!
Dr Gilmore is a wonderful person and it's obvious how much he thoroughly loves his profession. Hands down has taken care of my animals with more care and attention than any vet I've been to, and at a more affordable price.
