My daughter has been going to Tippi Toes for the past 4 years! I chose TIppi Toes over the other dance companies because I wanted her to learn dance, have fun and not be in a highly competitive environment. Tippi Toes has been a perfect environment for my daughter who was not interested in teachers who yelled at her and she really wanted to still be able to socialize with her new dancer friends. For example, Tippi Toes ends every class with a fun ‘freeze dance’ time. The girls are allowed to be social and a little silly but they still learn to dance. I have also loved how extremely responsive the owner has been over the years. I’ve been able to give both positive and negative feedback about teachers, recitals and everything else. Specifically, when we started they only went up to age 10 years and based on feedback from the parents they have increase the age to 12 years now. Finally, I absolutely LOVE her teacher Ms. Morgan. She has been with my daughter almost the entire 4 years and has progressively increased the difficulty of their dance skills to match their age. Jordan is in Tippi Pro now and Ms. Morgan reminds them they can do more skills. Ms. Morgan has a great balance of letting them be kids but still making them work, learn and push beyond what they think they can achieve. Additionally, she goes above and beyond to help them learn their recital dance and honestly, I cannot say enough good things about her! If you are looking for a place where your child can learn dance but not have the stress of competition and ‘dance moms’ this is the place!
It is a great little dance studio for tots. My 4 year old asks to go to dance almost every day. She loves dancing there. It is a great place for the littles to start and get into dancing.
