Oakridge is awesome!!!!! My mare coliced on Labor Day and they welcomed us so kindly and helped us and my horse get the care she needed, updated me every single day and took the best care of her. I will forever be thankful for them!

Oakridge Equine Hospital is a very nice facility located on E Waterloo Rd in Edmond, Oklahoma, right off I-35. It serves the Edmond, Oklahoma City, and Guthrie areas. The hospital offers emergency equine services 24/7, with services including MRI diagnostics, digital radiography, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, laser surgery, lameness, and ultrasonography. They treat injuries and emergencies such as colic, joint inflammation, bone bruise, ligament injuries, and eye injuries.
The facility is kept very clean from the stalls to the waiting room. The horse stalls at the back of the building are climate-controlled. The staff is very friendly, professional, gentle, compassionate, and beyond kind. They have six great veterinarians on staff who are compassionate and take time to explain procedures. The doctors and entire staff are considered the best vet around.
Clients report that the prices are reasonable, with clear communication about costs before any procedure. The facility receives the highest recommendation from clients, who state they will not go anywhere else and are forever grateful. It is described as a great facility and a true hospital for horses.

Dr. Gonzales recently had to take care of our colt. He came in with a high fever and infection from being cut. That was only the beginning! After about 4 to 5 trips back-and-forth from home to the hospital, Dr. Gonzales gave him a DMSO treatment. And it not only fixed the spinal cord injury he discovered, but also the infection. Dr. Gonzales was so helpful and available to us through two or three weeks of highs and lows. We have a very healthy, buckskin baby boy now!

The veterinarians and staff are friendly and answer all of your questions. Dr. Gonzalez walked me through my horses surgery before I ever made my appointment, then again upon arrival. The staff contacted me with updates as much or as little as I wanted on his progress after surgery and during the recovery process. I was also informed of the estimated costs so that I did not have sticker shock at the end.
