Being a first time buyer for a hammer dulcimer Russell Cook took me through the models that they had, and helped me to choose the one that best fit what type music I was going to play. I have not regretted getting my ultralight hammer dulcimer from Russell Cook. I have had this for around 15 years

I have purchased three instruments from MasterWorks now, and the craftsmanship is just amazing. From our little bowed psaltery to my incredible Dulciforte, the creation of these instruments is indeed a "Master Work."The Dulciforte is such a magnificent instrument of sound beauty and balance, it is my belief that it will be the first instrument we hear when crossing over to heaven! Research for yourself the history of this instrument and and see for yourself God's use to soothe and lift the heart for thousands of years!I've never questioned the integrity of this company, and know without a doubt if I have a question, Russell will know the answer. My wife bought me the Pioneer Package as a Christmas gift and I'm in absolute awe of it. The sound it puts out is incredible and the attention to detail is beyond belief. Although I've never played a hammer dulcimer in my life I'm certainly looking forward to learning.
