I've hiked every inch of Glen Helen and just today finally checked out the raptor center. Very, very cool place to take the kids or like I did today, just go solo and learn about some native species. It's great that each bird has a story about how they were rescued and can't be released, so it's not like a zoo with captured animals for money.
We recently visited with our 11 year old son. Our visit was self guided but still very educational. The raptors all appear to be very well taken care of in their enclosures. What a wonderful facility!
