Visitors can interact with knowledgeable and kind staff, who are there to answer questions and even demonstrate a raptor, like the red-tailed hawk, that cannot be returned to the wild. The facility is clean and quiet, providing a respectful environment for all guests. It is fully ADA compliant, featuring nice railings around the enclosures. The Raptor Center is a great educational center and a true hidden gem, making it a perfect stop for a day trip, especially since it is conveniently located near Yellow Springs. Additionally, the center provides valuable resources for those who find injured birds, as shown by their assistance with a hurt Barred Owl. A visit to this establishment is highly recommended, especially for those who enjoy learning and taking the time to read the information as they walk around.
